On Sunday, July 29th , popular TV presenter
Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere’s car was stolen at Oriental hotel. According to the presenter, she was at the hotel to cover two events,
‘YNaija Hashtag’ party and Senator Ita Giwa’s daughter’s dinner party. Upon
her arrival, the security men at the gate didn’t collect her car plate
number as was the usual procedure. She was directed to where she could
park and there after proceeded to cover both events. At about 11:15pm,
after the events, she went out to find that her car had been moved from
where it was originally parked. After through search of the premises,
her worst fears were confirmed; her car had been stolen.
The management and security of the hotel werent helpful at all, said
the presenter as they dismissed her reports. Even after reporting to the
Maroko police station, there was still no news o the missinc car, which
was a 2000 model Grey Toyota Camry v6 salon car (with Plate number EX
123 BC Lagos).
